Position title : Engineer, Systems Development - Kernel Technology
Job Location: Singapore
Jobscope:

The engineering and enhancement of the Core MXI kernel technology, used by both the platform and server, is the key activity of the kernel technology team. The capacity and performance of kernel in terms of network, filesystem, I/O, memory management, process scheduling, kernel security, driver portability and program execution are some of the key areas.

Skillsets:

• x64 and x86 Assembly and CPU architecture
• Computer architecture: CPU / Bus design / IO ports / interrupts / memory
• GNU C/C++, Shell Scripts, POSIX threads programming in Linux/Solaris/FreeBSD environment
• Knowledge in Unix/Solaris/FreeBSD/NetBSD Internals such as Kernel, MMU, Scheduler, Process Management and Kernel modules development
• Knowledge about Bootloaders (BSD Loader, Grub, etc) and Kernel Booting sequence
• System programming using TCP/IP, Processes, Multi-threading and IPC

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related disciplines with 4 years of relevant working experience required.
