Position title: Engineer, Quality Assurance

Job Location: Singapore

Job scope
The quality assurance team ensures quality by following quality control policies and is responsible for developing test automation tools, test strategies, test plans and test cases. The job requires the QA engineers to maintain a trouble-ticketing system and conduct regular discussions with the engineering groups.

Skill sets

• Familiarity with client server testing
• Knowledge and experience in at least four of the following areas: batch files, make files, unit testing, automated test creation, regression testing, black-box and white-box testing, real-time software testing, embedded systems software, and PC software and hardware configuration.
• Demonstrated proficiency in C and/or C++ programming and also expertise in Unix Operating system
• Development of Test Automation tools using C / C++ on Unix platforms
• Ability to achieve results, meet deadlines, and adjust to quickly changing priorities in a fast-paced software-testing environment.
• Willingness and desire to work in an open, collaborative team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication, time management, and organizational skills, and a thorough approach to problem solving
• Methodical and detail-oriented
• Experience in protocol and embedded systems testing is preferred

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science with 5 years experience in software testing and test automation procedures.
