Data Mining Manager

We have Manager - Data mining and analytics practice position to work in Chennai/Singapore with one of the leading Strategy Consulting firm of Singapore.

Work Location: Chennai/Singapore

Job Title: Manager - Data mining and analytics practice

Responsibilities :  

• Lead teams consisting of Data Miners and ETL experts in various projects
• Develop analytical models, segmentation frameworks and forecasting tools, churn management models, response modeling, customer profitability models etc.
• Structure and conduct independent analysis; develop and present recommendations to clients.
• Provide client interface; assist in managing relationships with client team members.

Requirements : 

• MS in Statistics / Computer Science from a leading university
• 4-5 years experience and in-depth understanding of data mining, predictive modeling and trend analysis
• Experience in either SAS, SPSS, IBM intelligent miner, Unica or Clementine
• Prior experience in marketing campaign development, channel and customer contact strategies
• 2-3 years experience in banking & financial services industry preferable
• Strong analytical, quantitative methods and communication skills
• Willing to travel abroad
